Welcome to Sandy McMahan's

Walks, Talks & Gawks
New to Tucson and Southeast Arizona, or just want to learn more about this fascinating corner of the world?

You've come to the right place!
Increase your enjoyment of this fascinating part of the world by joining one of Sandy McMahan's
Walks, Talks & Gawks Tours. A seasoned naturalist with over 36 years of  experience teaching about the natural world, Sandy's lively interest in nature, history and art brings this area into high definition color.

Interested in birding, or think you could be? Sandy specializes in birding tours for new or intermediate birders. She will explain why Southeast Arizona is one of the top birding areas in America and teach you what you need to know to get started on what could become your new life-long hobby. Learn to spot some of Arizona's birding treasures such as the Elegant Trogon, the Flame Colored Tanager, the Vermillion Flycatcher, Abert's Towhee, the Masked Bob-White, the Loggerhead Shrike, and many more.

Just visiting and want to make every minute of your time here count? Enjoy your trip without spending a large part of your day waiting in line to get on or off the bus. Sandy offers private tours for groups of from 1 to 6 people. She will show you the sights, teach
you some history, and make your trip one to remember forever.

Looking for a special gift for that person who "has" everything? Choose from one of Sandy's established Walks, Talks & Gawks or suggest your own and let her take care of the details for your very special day.
